This 2-day course is an enlarged and updated version of the popular bladder pathology course aimed at Consultants and senior Trainees. The basic layout of the course is maintained with multiple self-study microscopy sessions interspersed by short talks. Changes include an expanded programme focussing only on bladder pathology, parallel small group interactive sessions and an invited guest speaker. Professor Theodorus van der Kwast, an internationally renowned expert bladder pathologist based in Toronto, Canada will be our guest faculty member this year.
Glass slides from over 150 cases (each accompanied by short notes) will be available to review during the microscopy sessions, which will be followed by a Quiz. The course remains interactive with ample time available for discussion with the faculty after each lecture as well as during the microscopy sessions.
